7.1 Before Installing the ethylene oxide eto sterilizer
Users must introduce a 380V three-phase four-wire power supply along with a protective grounding wire into the control room. The cable connecting the power supply to the sterilizer should be selected according to Table 3. An external switch and an air circuit breaker should be configured based on the rated power of the equipment. The external switch and air circuit breaker should be located near the equipment.

7.2
All protective grounding terminals within the equipment must be securely and reliably connected to the introduced protective grounding wire.
7.3
The sterilization chamber should be installed separately from the control section. The sterilization chamber of the ethylene oxide eto sterilizer must be installed in a separate working area, which should have water supply, drainage, and ventilation facilities to ensure proper ventilation. The ventilation system should opt for explosion-proof axial flow fans. The floor in the working area should be flat and solid, and the body of the sterilizer should be placed steadily. The concrete thickness of the working area floor should not be less than 60 mm.
7.4
If required by the user, a non-recirculating local exhaust system should be used to eliminate fugitive emissions (e.g., exhaust devices in front of the ethylene oxide eto sterilizerdoor). The corresponding configurations should be made on-site according to actual conditions.
7.5
During installation, the minimum distance from one side (or both sides) of the equipment to the wall (column) should be 0.5 m, and there should be a distance of at least 3 m at both ends for loading and unloading purposes to allow for transport vehicle operations.
7.6
The installation of all pipelines should ensure no leakage, especially for medication supply lines and vacuum lines; otherwise, safety hazards may occur.
7.7
The exhaust gas drawn from the vacuum pump should first enter the exhaust treatment box, be dissolved in water, and then be discharged through the drainage outlet of the exhaust treatment box into a neutralization treatment pool (which should be prepared by the user). After neutralization, it should be discharged into a closed dedicated drainage system. The diameter of the drainage system piping should be larger than the vacuum pump outlet diameter (see Figures A.2-2 and D.1).
7.8
The discharge outlet of the safety valve should use a pipe of appropriate diameter to direct the gas into the neutralization pool for neutralization before being discharged through the dedicated drainage pipe (see Figure A.2-2).
7.9
Main components of the sterilizer, such as the chamber, control frame assembly, electrical control cabinet, vacuum system piping, hot water system piping, ethylene oxide system piping, and vaporization system piping, shall be delivered as separate modules and connected on-site by specialized personnel from our factory.
7.10
The minimum distance between the control frame and the electrical control cabinet should be 1 meter to prevent noise hazards to operating personnel caused by sound pressure generated by the pump and vacuum pump.
7.11
The steam source must be provided by the user, with a required steam pressure of 0.25-0.4 MPa, steam temperature of 135-150°C, and a rated evaporation capacity greater than 3.5 kg/h.
7.12
The ethylene oxide gas cylinder must be provided by the user. The outlet pressure of the ethylene oxide gas cylinder must not exceed 0.4 MPa.
7.13
Installation of the ethylene oxide eto sterilizer will be assisted by specialized personnel from our factory, and these professionals will be responsible for equipment debugging.
