The function of Preconditioning Room
Before the EO sterilization process, preheating and humidifying the products in the precondition room in advance, can effectively shorten the heating and humidifying time of the products in the sterilizer.
Temperature (±3 °C) and humidity (5÷10%) uniformity
Forced air circulation and positive pressure inside the room to speed up that transfer and heat penetration.
Precise control, high level of automation, parameters records.
Relatively simple construction and fast installation.
Easy operation and convenient maintenance.
Low investments, low use cost, and energy consumption.
The preheating room and ETO sterilizer volume ratio is normally 1:1.

On-site requirements
a) Building Requirements: The height of the factory space should not be less than 5 meters, and the dimensions of the entrance door should not be less than 3 meters in width and 3.5 meters in height. The factory area should have good ventilation measures, adequate lighting, and emergency lighting. All electrical appliances must meet explosion-proof standards. (There should be dust removal and disinfection devices at personnel entrances and exits, and disinfection and dust filtration devices at goods entrances and exits.)
b) Floor Requirements: The ground must be level, capable of bearing a load of 2t/m², constructed with concrete, fully coated with floor paint, and equipped with dedicated safety passages and signage.
c) Environmental Requirements: Ambient temperature: 5℃ to 40℃. Relative humidity: ≤85% RH. Atmospheric pressure: 90 to 105 kPa.
d) Electrical Requirements: The total power for the preheating room is 120 kW, and for the analysis room, it is 100 kW, with a supply of 380V, 50Hz, three-phase five-wire system.
e) Water Requirements: Heating water: Pure water pipeline DN25, with a pressure greater than 2 kg, including valves and pressure gauges; Humidification water: Pure water pipeline DN15, with a pressure greater than 2 kg, including valves and pressure gauges.
f) Gas Requirements: Compressed air must be free of water and oil, with a pressure of 4-6 kg, and should include filtration and pressure regulation with valves and pressure gauges.
g) Lifting Requirements: Transportation to the client should be handled by our factory. The transportation company will directly contact the client by phone upon arrival at the site. After the client inspects and confirms that there is no damage, the items will be lifted or forked to the designated area, and then wait for the supplier’s representative to arrive for installation. Note: The client must prepare lifting and unloading tools and personnel in advance.
h) Exhaust and Drainage Requirements: Drainage outlets should be set up near the lower part of the room, inside the preheating room, and in the control room to regularly discharge condensate from the preheating room.
i) Layout Requirements: The area awaiting sterilization must be completely isolated from the sterilized area, with clear signage. The logistics direction should ensure that unsterilized products and sterilized products are completely separated and cannot be confused. The sterilized area must have sufficiently high walls for physical separation from the factory’s cold analysis area (if such an area exists). The area awaiting release must be isolated from the released area, and it should reserve at least three working days of storage space for goods (greater than or equal to the capacity of the analysis room). Products must not be placed directly on the ground and should be stored on pallets.
